The Havards run a traditional family farming partnership based in Worcestershire at Phepson Farm. Originally a dairy farm, the family ceased milking in 1983 and set up a small beef herd. The farm is now certified organic and the Havards are expanding their herd. Sustainability is at the heart of their farming practices: the cattle have an 100% forage diet and farmer Rob has strong links to the National Trust, through whom the family have taken on a further 180 acres of organic pasture land to complement the farm.
